Industrial Action On The Way For Our Trains

Thursday 22 July 2010 4:05 PM

Revenue Protection Officers on our trains will stop work between 2pm tomorrow and 2am on Saturday, after holding a protest rally in the city today.

The workers initially planned to go to work, but simply not issue fines during that 12 hour period, however they decided to completely walk off the job, after their employer MSS Security said it would not pay them for the shift.

The Miscellaneous Workers Union's Carolyn Smith says passenger safety will be compromised, but the workers have a clear message to send!
